TAFE NSW Degrees are available in the Hunter and Central Coast! Early Childhood at Glendale Campus and Engineering at Newcastle Campus. Our strong links with industry mean that these courses give you practical, career-oriented knowledge to prepare you for professional practice.
The Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care (Birth-5) offers the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in early childhood theory and pedagogy; professional practice and leadership; curriculum content development and design; care and wellbeing of the child within a social context; and society and culture. This Bachelor Degree is delivered in our state-of-the-art facility at Glendale Campus, purpose built for early childhood education.
The Associate Degree of Applied Engineering (Renewable Energy Technologies) provides students with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to design, develop, install, commission, maintain, repair and/or decommission renewable/sustainable energy technology solutions. While the program covers the range of technologies across the renewable energy spectrum, students will choose to specialise in either electrical or mechanical/civil engineering.
A new course, the Bachelor of Applied Commerce will be offered in the
Hunter and Central Coast areas for enrolments in Semester 1, 2018. The Bachelor of Applied Commerce is a three-year professional degree preparing graduates for employment in the accounting and/or financial planning professions in Australia and overseas. The Program will offer students the option to complete an Accounting Major or a Financial Planning Major. Students will also have an opportunity to complete a double major and therefore qualify as both an industry recognised Financial Planner and Accountant.
Fees for students enrolled in TAFE NSW Degrees are charged on a per-subject basis for domestic students and on a per-year basis for international students. The fees charged vary between courses so it is important that you read your course information carefully before registering. FEE-HELP is also available for TAFE NSW Degrees.
