Campus locations stretch from Gosford in the south to inner city Newcastle and as far north as Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter. So wherever you are across the region, there's a Hunter TAFE campus not far from you.

Enrolling at Hunter TAFE can help you stay or get on track towards a rewarding career. TAFE offers globally recognised career pathways for students around the world and provides credit transfer and articulation arrangements with more than 25 Australian universities and colleges. We can even connect you with potential industry job opportunities through CareersConnect@Hunter. Hunter TAFE students can also access a variety of grants and scholarships to help them complete their education and training.

No matter where you are, what you want to do or where you want to go, Hunter TAFE has a vocational education and training option that will fit around your lifestyle, aspirations and circumstances. Course delivery is flexible, with around 1 in 5 students choosing online and distance education modes. Supported by strong industry links, more than 30% of education delivered across the TAFE network is outside the classroom.

It doesn't matter if you have just left school or see yourself as a mature-age student with your own unique set of life skills, Hunter TAFE's range of flexible delivery modes, such as in the workplace, online, face-to-face or a combination of these, will give you ease of access to the training, student services and support you need to achieve your goals.

Hunter TAFE also offers you a range of educational facilities such as a network of libraries, trade workshops, computer labs, music and performance spaces, art exhibition areas and a fitness centre.

It also functions as your library card. It is best to keep your TAFEcard with you at all times (it's also a good idea to carry your Medicare card with you at all times).

You TAFEcard enables you to:

- Collect your student travel pass
- Use photocopiers
- Access Student Computer Labs
- Access Disabled Parking (for students with a disability)
- Identify you as a student on TAFE NSW campuses
- Identify you as a student in final examinations

Your TAFEcard can be issued from Student Service Centres located at any of the 15 campuses. You will need your photograph taken and proof of enrolment. Keep your TAFEcard as it is a permanent ID card which will be re-activated whenever you take up study with TAFE again. Keep your TAFEcard with you at all times. If your card is lost or destroyed, you will have to pay $20 for a replacement. *A credit value will need to be added to the card to enable the photocopy facility. Contact Student Services at your campus of study.
