Newcastle TAFE Campus is located in the suburb of Tighes Hill. It is the largest campus in the Hunter TAFE network, just 10 minutes’ walk from Hamilton railway station and 15 minutes to Newcastle CBD, with plenty of buses available to transport you around the region and into the Hunter Valley.
Newcastle TAFE Campus has a number of student services, including a library, career counselling and accommodation service, disability support, Aboriginal support (Purrimaibahn), learner support, a dedicated course information service, and a support unit for international students.
Newcastle Campus has specialist facilities and purpose-built spaces to provide high industry standards, as well as a providing a supportive, relaxed, positive learning environment, including a retail canteen outlet, bookshop and a childcare centre at this convenient central location.

Newcastle Campus has a range of exceptional facilities to hire. Newcastle Campus can provide a unique venue for conferences, training days, award ceremonies, product launches, as well as a theatre, music, and dance productions.

Large classrooms across the campus seating up to 30 people complete with audio visual including interactive whiteboards and digital television screens.
Large multi-purpose theatre is available at Newcastle Campus with seating for 125 in theatre style.
