Hunter TAFE established the Hospitality Training Centre at Cessnock Campus, which has become a recognised centre of excellence in the tourism and hospitality industry. The training centre won the 1996 Hunter Tourism Award for Industry Training and was a finalist in the NSW Tourism Awards.
