The DET Portal provides links to:
- your TAFE email account - read the "My Email Guide" for more information
- TAFE Student eServices - view your enrolment details and results
- Course Information
You will be issued with a username and password when you enrol in a TAFE course.
Alternatively, you can self-register for a DET Portal password by visiting http://portal.det.nsw.edu.au and following the on-screen instructions.

You can login to the DET portal anywhere via the Internet.
It is strongly recommended that you set up a "Secret Question and Answer" in case you forget your password.
To access the Internet, Library eResources, Student e-Services and your DET email account on computers at a TAFE campus - eg. your classroom or Library, you will need to enter your DET Portal username and password.
The format required for logon is illustrated below with "firstname.lastname" indicating your DET Portal Username
e.g. "john.smith":
