The following eBooks and databases require you to log in using your DET Portal username and password or a database specific username and password. Details about how to access individual databases can be found in the information below.
For databases requiring a specific username and password contact your local Campus Library for Login details, or click here to have the passwords emailed to you. You can expect a reply within 24 hours on weekdays.

NetLibrary eBooks - Hunter collection - The NetLibrary eBook collection comprises a statewide TAFE NSW collection, as well as books purchased by Hunter Institute libraries. Access to the combined TAFE NSW and Hunter Institute collection requires a locally created user account. To have a username and password created for you which can be used for access on and off campus, contact your local Campus library or use the Password request form. TAFE NSW Library Network Catalogue - TAFEcat - this catalogue will help you to identify and locate the resources held in the TAFE NSW libraries. Access to Journal databases and Statewide collections of eBooks are also available using you DET Portal username and password to login.
You can also use the TAFEcat to view your loans and reserved items, and renew your loans online.
