Services and Facilities 

Hunter Street Campus Library provides art resources in a variety of media. 
We hold over 7,000 items in the areas of:

  • digital arts and media
  • painting
  • printmaking
  • professional arts practice
  • ceramics
  • design
  • sculpture
  • drawing.

Over 400 videos, 40 DVDs and 30 specialist art journals complement the collection. 
Access is also provided to internet based online journals and databases.  We also hold images in digital format. 

The library receives the major daily newspapers during term.

There are VCRs/DVD players for viewing the library's extensive video/DVD collection.

Seating

Seating in the library is limited to 12 persons. 
Classes are welcome but it is advisable to book. 
The 'Breakout Room' diagonally opposite the library in the foyer is also available after hours.  See the library, or the office for access.

PHOTOCOPYING

Use your TAFECard to access printing (both black/white and colour) via the release station (Pharos computer).  All black & white printing goes to the photocopier at the back of the library.
For colour copying use the scanner/colour printer.

STUDENT COMPUTERS

All library computers can access the Internet, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe CS3 Design Standard programmes.
The Breakout Room has two MACs. 

Computers number one and two have a scanner. 

Student computers are self-booked, with a limit of two hours per student per day.  Use the booking diary next to each computer to reserve it.
