The Cessnock Campus library collection includes a wide range of information resources in various formats including CD-ROM, books, magazines, videos and audio visual materials.  Collection strengths are in Welfare and Child Care, Prevocational (HSC and Basic Education), Hospitality, Retail and Business Studies, Metal Fabrication and Welding and Computing. Professional library staff are available to assist staff and students in use of the library and its resources.

Students and staff at Cessnock have access to a range of facilities.

The Group Study Room can accommodate 8 people with access to a TV and DVD/Video player, overhead projector and whiteboard.

Also attached to the Library is the Flexible Delivery Room, which has 16 computers and can be booked by Staff.

There are individual tables for study as well as larger tables for group work.

A photocopier is available for student use.  Cost is 10c per page.

No change can be given by library staff.

A cashier machine is available to add credit to your TAFEcard for photocopying.  It accepts coins only.

5 computers are available during opening hours for student use.

Bookings are limited to 1 hour per day for Internet use, Word processing/CD-ROM time limited to 2 hours per day.

Internet conditions of use apply, ask Campus Library Staff for details.

To use the student computers, you will need to show your TAFEcard and complete the self-booking sheet located at the loans desk.  Bookings can be made in advance. 
You will also need a USB device if you wish to download files or save your work.

Printing is available at 10c per page for black and white and 50c per page for colour.
