| Who Can Borrow? |
- All new and continuing TAFE NSW students can borrow using their TAFEcard. Please read the Library conditions of use for more information.
- All current TAFE NSW staff can borrow using their TAFEcard. Proof of current TAFE employment is required.
- Students and Staff of the University of Newcastle can join their local TAFE library as Reciprocal Borrowers (conditions and fees apply).

| What Can You Borrow? |
- TAFE NSW Students can borrow a total of 15 items, with limits on the number of items you can borrow of particular formats, such as DVDs and CDs.
- TAFE NSW Staff are not limited in the number of items they can borrow.
- Most books and magazines are loaned to students for 2 weeks and to staff for 4 weeks, while most DVD's, videos and CDs are loaned for 1 to 2 weeks. Items on closed Reserve have more restricted loan periods. Contact your local Campus Library for local loan conditions..

| Renewals |
- You may renew an item up to 2 times on or before the due date as longs as no one has placed a hold on the item.

| Returning Items |
- Items should be returned to the library from which you borrowed them.
- Items must be returned or renewed on or before the due date, otherwise fines may apply. You must replace or pay for any items you lose or damage.
- Return chutes are usually located both inside and outside the library so that items may be returned anytime during campus opening hours.

| Inter-Library Loans |
- Your local campus library can obtain items for you from other TAFE NSW Libraries. This inter-library loan service is available only to TAFE NSW Staff and Students for course related material, and is free of charge. Conditions apply, contact your local Campus Library for details.

| Fines |
- Penalties and fines if you return your loans late:
- A fine of $10.00 for each item overdue will be imposed plus the cost of replacing the item. If the item is returned the replacement cost will not apply.
- You will not receive your results or testamur (e.g certificate or diploma) if you have not returned all items and paid all outstanding library fines.
