Certificate III in FloristryThis qualification reflects the role of skilled florists who use a range of well-developed floristry skills to design, construct and sell a diverse range of floristry products. These individuals have sound knowledge of construction techniques and floristry design elements and principles. Using discretion and judgement, they work with some independence and under limited supervision. They may provide technical advice and support to team members.

This qualification provides a pathway to work as a florist in a diversity of floristry industry business types including retail floristry shops, studios and online floristry businesses.

No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

The 2017 Smart and Skilled prices for this qualification are:

First Qualification Fee is $2,130.00
Second Qualification Fee is $2,550.00

The Concession Fee is $240.00. You may also be eligible for a fee exemption. Your eligibility for a concession or exemption will be confirmed at enrolment.

The fees indicated above are based on students who have been approved for training subsidised by the NSW Government. If you do not qualify for training subsidised by the NSW Government, please do not hesitate to contact us on 131 225 to find out how we can assist you to achieve your study and career goals.

Students can pay their fee upfront or undertake an Instalment Plan which will commence at the time of enrolment. The Fee and Refund Policy advises students of their obligations with regards to student fees and additional costs, and eligibility requirements for refunds. A copy of the Instalment Plan Agreement and the Fee and Refund policy can be found on the TAFE NSW – Hunter & Central Coast website.

If your employer is covering the cost of your student fees, a letter or purchase order from your employer is required.

Costs associated with work experience and field trips such as food, transport and accommodation will be at the student’s own expense.

Some programs attract additional costs and include essential equipment that is retained by you on completion of study.

Students will need to purchase the following essential equipment. Estimated costs are listed below:
