To confirm your eligibility for subsidised training you will need to provide a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI). Create your USI . You are also required to provide evidence of your living location or confirmation of employment in NSW and proof of citizenship. Please bring either:
- Australian green Medicare Card
- An Australian or New Zealand Birth Certificate
- Australian or New Zealand Passport
- Naturalisation Certificate

For Permanent Residents or Humanitarian Visa holders, a Certificate of Evidence of Resident Status (CERS) or a Humanitarian Visa is accepted.

Evidence is required to support applications for fee concessions or exemptions. Such as:
- A valid Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) or DVA number with the date of grant; or
- A letter from a medical practitioner, appropriate government agency or specialised allied health professional indicating a clear additional need as a result of a disability.

Jobseekers are required to provide full details of:
- jobactive provider details and
- jobseeker identification (JSID) number

You are eligible if you:
- Are aged 15 years or older
- Have left school
- Live or work in New South Wales
- Are an Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder or New Zealand citizen.

Note: You will need to provide a copy of one of the following: Medicare Card, Birth Certificate (Australian or New Zealand), Passport (Australian or New Zealand), Naturalisation Certificate, and Certificate of Registration by Descent, Certificate of Evidence of Resident Status (CERS) or Humanitarian Visa with this form. A certified copy must be provided if the original document has not been sighted by a Hunter TAFE employee to demonstrate eligibility.
