Certificate IV in Tertiary PreparationThe Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation is a Year 12 equivalent qualification with an emphasis on skill-based learning as well as discipline-specific content.

It is a recognised tertiary entry qualification by the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC), NSW universities and some interstate universities.

In addition, for University of Western Sydney applicants, TPC graduates gaining TES scores of 168 out of 300 or higher have guaranteed entry into many bachelor degree programs.

Also, for Charles Sturt University applicants, TPC graduates gaining TES scores of 157 out of 300 or higher have guaranteed entry into many bachelor degree programs.

Certificate III or equivalent skills and knowledge.

Career Pathways

This course may lead to a career in the Australian Defence Forces or employment
requiring a Year 12 equivalent qualification.
