Matthew was undertaking a fibre glassing course with Hunter Institute when he was attracted to the technology behind boat building. He enrolled in a Boat and Ship Building course and learnt a variety of skills and the capacity to work more effectively. In his current role Matthew is responsible for all phases of building, finishing and repairing high-tech Olympic-class rowing boats.
