The NSW Government Website Style Directive provides a framework that will allow visitors to easily identify NSW Government websites. It is intended to create a consistent and user-friendly experience by standardising key elements to assist the public in getting the information they need fast.
 
The Government chief Information Office (GCIO) and Department of Commerce strives to maintain conformance to W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). The public pages on this site meet the criteria for AA compliance with WCAG guidelines. Endorsed in principal by the CEC (Chief Executive Committee) a website design and policy committee comprising of the Premiers Department, Commerce and six government agencies has been formed. Its role is to set guidelines and make recommendations for NSW Government Agencies.
