Wyong LibraryWyong Campus Library is part of the TAFE NSW Hunter Institute network of 15 campus libraries.

 

The Wyong Campus collection includes a wide range of information resources in various formats, including books, magazines, DVDs and videos and audio-visual materials.

 

The collection covers the courses offered at Wyong Campus and includes Aged Care, Management, Administration, General Studies, ESOL, Hospitality, and Electrotechnology.

 

Experienced TAFE library staff are on hand to offer professional assistance with locating information resources and provide training in information searching skills.

Computers

Computers are available in the library for student use and must be booked at the desk using your TAFEcard.

There are 15 computers and all have access to the Internet and a range of programs relating to coursework.

Facilities

The library has additional rooms for classes, staff and students to use.

 

There are two group study rooms which cater for up to 15 students and contain a computer, whiteboard, television, DVD and video player.

 

The Flexible Learning Centre caters for larger groups or classes and includes 15 computers. This room also has a whiteboard, a television, DVD and video players.

 

Adult Study Centre tutorials take place in The Flexible Learning Centre.

Wyong New Resource Lists

 

The latest list of new resources at Wyong and a subject list of DVDs and Videos  are also available via the TAFEcat.

Printing

A multifunctional printer/photocopier is available for use in the library. The following charges apply:
10c per A4 B&W 20c per A3 B&W
30c per A4 colour 60c per A3 colour

 

Students require their TAFEcard to pay for printing and photocopying.

 

Both coins and notes can be used to charge your TAFEcard in the library.
 
The Hunter Institute is a cash free workplace, and library staff are unable to provide change.
