Scone LibraryScone Campus Library is part of the TAFE NSW Hunter Institute network of 15 campus libraries.

 

The Scone Campus collection includes a wide range of information resources in various formats, including books, magazines, DVDs and videos and audio-visual materials.

 

The collection covers equine-related subjects including horse care and training, equine medicine, farriery and the racing industry; veterinary nursing and horticulture.

 

Experienced TAFE library staff on hand to offer professional assistance with locating information resources and provide training in information searching skills.

Computers

There are 3 computers available during opening hours for student use, all with access to the Internet.

You will be issued with a username and password shortly after enrolment. Keep a record of these as you will need them to access the Internet or your email on a TAFE campus.

New resources lists

The latest list of new resources at Scone is available on the TAFEcat.

 

A list of Scone Library's DVDs and Videos by subject is also available via the TAFEcat.

Printing

A multifunctional printer/photocopier is available for use in the library. The following charges apply:
10c per A4 B&W 20c per A3 B&W 
30c per A4 colour 60c per A3 colour

 

Students require their TAFEcard to pay for printing and photocopying.
 
Both coins and notes can be used to charge your TAFEcard in the library.
 

 

The Hunter Institute is a cash free workplace, and library staff are unable to provide change.
