Maitland Campus Library

Maitland LibraryMaitland Campus Library is part of the TAFE NSW Hunter Institute network of 15 campus libraries.

 

The Maitland Campus collection includes a wide range of information resources in various formats, including books, magazines, DVDs and videos and audio-visual materials. Access is also available to more than 30 electronic databases.

 

The collection covers several subject areas including Business, Finance and Management, Office Administration, Building, Plumbing, Information Technology, Hospitality and General Education.

 

Training in research and information skills, online database searching and Internet research is available on request.

 

Experienced TAFE library staff are on hand to offer professional assistance with locating information resources and provide training in information searching skills.

Computers

There are 16 computers available for student use, all with Internet access.

Students are issued with a username and password shortly after enrolment.

Facilities

Facilities at Maitland Campus Library include a Group Study Room and a Seminar Room with access to a Smartboard, DVD/video player, overhead projector and whiteboard.

Printing

A multifunctional printer/photocopier is available for use in the library. The following charges apply:
10c per A4 B&W 20c per A3 B&W
30c per A4 colour 60c per A3 colour

 

Students require their TAFEcard to pay for printing and photocopying.

 

Both coins and notes can be used to charge your TAFEcard in the library.
 

 

The Hunter Institute is a cash free workplace, and library staff are unable to provide change.
