The Gosford Campus collection includes a wide range of information resources in various formats, including books, magazines, DVDs and videos and audio-visual materials.

 

The collection covers several subject areas such as Aged Care, Business Management, Business Administration, Fitness, Hairdressing and Beauty, General Studies and ESOL literacy.

 

 

Experienced TAFE library staff are on hand to offer professional assistance with locating information resources and provide training in information searching skills.

Computers

Computers are available in the library for student use and must be booked at the desk using your TAFEcard.

There are 14 computers and all have access to the Internet and a range of programs relating to coursework.

Equipment

The following equipment is available for use in the library: 

  • Digital video camera
  • eBeam (for teaching staff)
  • Laptops
  • Digital projectors

Facilities

The library has two additional rooms: the Resource Room and the AV Room for teachers and students to use.

These rooms can be booked by teaching staff.

Printing

A multifunctional printer/photocopier is available for use in the library. The following charges apply:

10c per A4 B&W 20c per A3 B&W 
30c per A4 colour 60c per A3 colour Double-sided copying and printing is available.

 

Students require their TAFEcard to pay for printing and photocopying.
Both coins and notes can be used to charge your TAFEcard in the library.

 

The Hunter Institute is a cash free workplace, and library staff are unable to provide change.
