Sustainability in the Workplace

 

Hunter TAFE is committed to environmental sustainability and has adopted a range of programs and strategies to move our organisation, local businesses and the community towards greener production and consumption.

Sustainability in the workplace involves using our natural resources responsibly. Sustainability education and training is important because it will benefit community and industry, as a quality education provider, sustainability courses and initiatives are a high priority for Hunter TAFE. Green collar jobs are expected to boom as sustainable living practices evolve and Hunter TAFE can train or retrain workers through individually customised programs to create a more environmentally sustainable workplace.

From Sustainability Skill Sets to a Diploma of Sustainability our sustainability courses, offered through the Business and Computing Faculty, will provide you with knowledge of key sustainability concepts, tools and practices to meet current and future industry requirements.
