Recognition

Recognition is about matching the skills and knowledge that employees have obtained during their work and life experience against a formal qualification from Hunter TAFE. In some cases employees may be able to gain a entire new qualification, or they may gain a new skills set of national competencies that reflect the high level of work conducted in their workplace.

Your employees may then be able to work at a higher level, or gain a license to enable them to do specialised work and improve efficiencies for your business. If skills already obtained are consistent with the national standards, then staff will be eligible to be awarded the relevant unit. It is also possible to gain recognition for 100% of the course.
