Subjects covered as part of this animal science program include feeding, grooming and handling animals, looking after sick animals, identifying signs of illness, understanding day-to-day life in a veterinary surgery and cleaning animal enclosures.

Students of this animal training course must undertake work experience in the animal care industry. Following completion of this course you may want to articulate into higher-level animal courses in animal management, veterinary nursing or companion animals.
