Community Services Introduction Certificate II (TVET)

Hunter TAFEThis community services training course is ideal for students with an interest in finding employment in community services management. Enrol in this TAFE community services course to learn some of the basic skills needed to work in the health and community services sector.

Subjects covered as part of this community services course include communicating appropriately with clients, working with others, preparing activities in community support teams and understanding the nature of the community service sector. There are a number of elective units to choose from depending on your field of interest.

These include aged care work, introduction to alcohol and other drugs work, introduction to work in social housing and introduction to disability work.
