This course is for HSC students who want to undertake media studies at TAFE NSW under the TVET program as part of their HSC. This media training course is for people interested in careers in media. These media studies will help you to acquire knowledge and skills to pursue employment and/or further training in media archiving; camera/lighting; community radio program making / presentation; assistant editing; interactive media authoring; or working as a production assistant. Media training courses are useful if you would like to one day work as a news reporter, video producer or even interview celebrities and public figures. Depending on the pattern of study and the successfully completed units of competency, students of Hunter TAFE media courses may achieve a Statement of Competencies Achieved or a Certificate qualification.
