plumbing equipmentThis course is for HSC students who want to study plumbing at TAFE NSW under the TVET program as part of their HSC. This course is for those seeking a plumbing apprenticeship. Depending on electives chosen you will acquire skills associated with plumbing services repair work such as gas services, water services, pipe repairs, drainage, sanitary services and metal roofing.

For non school-based apprentices 70 hours of work placement is strongly recommended for those undertaking the 240-hour and 360-hour courses.

For school-based apprentices mandatory work placement requirements for this course are met through the on-the-job training component of the school-based apprenticeship.

Career opportunities include becoming a qualified plumber. With further experience and plumbing training you may become a plumbing industry contractor and own your own business.
