Electrotechnology Career Start TVET

electrotechnology tools Hunter TAFE's electrotechnology course is for school students who are interested in technology and would like to learn the basic skills required for a career as an electronic technician. This electrical training course can be studied as a 120 or 240 hours course.

Subjects taught in this electrotechnology class include delivering a service to customers, understanding OH&S policies and procedures and carrying out routine activities in an electrotechnology environment. Optional modules of study include dismantling, assembling and fabricating electrotechnology components, solving problems in extra-low voltage single path circuits, solving problems in multiple path DC circuits and fixing and securing international standard equipment.

Career opportunities that lead from electrotechnology courses at Hunter TAFE include starting an electrotechnology apprenticeship. When you have completed this course you may be able to apply for more advanced electrotechnology training courses, including Certificate III in Electrotechnology.

Industry Curriculum Framework Course: This course may count towards an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) if you study it for 2 years consecutively. You would then need to sit the HSC exam to be eligible for an ATAR.
