Aeroskills Certificate II (TVET)

Hunter TAFEAircraft maintenance training offered as a TVET course by Hunter TAFE is ideal for school students who wish to work in the aviation industry as an aircraft mechanic.

Units of study include occupational health and safety in aviation maintenance; performing routine removal and installation of aircraft parts; using electrical testing equipment; dismantling, inspecting, maintaining and assembling aircraft hydraulic and pneumatic components or parts and learning many other skills to prepare an aircraft for flight.

Once you have finished studying at Hunter TAFE's aircraft maintenance school, you may wish to find an aircraft maintenance apprenticeship or look for trainee aircraft repair jobs in the aviation service industry.
