Electrotechnology Computer Assembly and Repair TVET

electrotechnology tools The electrotechnology training course is for school students who have an interest in working with computers and would like to become an electronic technician. Students enrolled in electrotechnology courses at Hunter TAFE will learn the basic skills required for a career in computer assembly in the electrotechnology industry. Some of the core units of study covered in this electroctechnology class include delivering a service to customers, applying OH&S practices in the workplace and carrying out routine activities in an electrotechnology environment. Students studying on the extended program will also look at dismantling, assembling and fabricating electrotechnology components, solving problems in extra-low voltage single path circuits, solving problems in multiple path DC circuits and fixing and securing equipment. On successful completion of this electrotechnology certificate you may wish to articulate into more advanced Hunter TAFE training courses to further your knowledge of electrotechnology, computer repairs and assembly.

Industry Curriculum Framework Course: This course may count towards an ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank) if you study it for 2 years consecutively. You would then need to sit the HSC exam to be eligible for an ATAR.
