Hunter TAFE's Access to Work and Training course is ideal for people who would like to prepare for further education, training or employment. If you have been unable to access work, or find a job to suit you, this course is the perfect starting point.
You will learn the basics of how to prepare for further training and work, including advice on communication techniques between you and your employer.
You have the option to study online or if you do not have the available equipment, you can attend classes on campus as well as in the community. A 'basic life support' unit is available as part of this work access course.
People with disabilities that would prevent them from performing basic life support skills are advised that they will not be able to achieve this particular unit of competency.
