You will operate the equipment within a florist shop, learn how to care for, prepare and display floristry stock and merchandise, assemble and prepare floristry products and design and construct arrangements using hand tied and wiring techniques and a base medium. In this floristry course, students will learn how to provide best-practice customer service and understand how to apply the business skills required for a work environment. When you finish the award, you can apply for advanced standing in other floristry courses TAFE offers, such as WRF40104 Certificate IV in Floristry (7737), or one of the management courses TAFE offers.
