Floristry

FloristIf you've a flair for flowers, Hunter TAFE's floristry courses are meant for you. Our floristry training courses are custom designed for people who work or want to work in the floristry industry. Over the duration of this Certificate II florist course, you will use a wide variety of flowers and accessories to create stylish floral arrangements under the supervision of a trained florist, as well as serve customers and maintain shop displays. TAFE's floristry school will teach you how to care for, prepare and display floristry stock and merchandise, flower design and arranging, wedding floristry and customer service skills. When you finish this course, you can apply for advanced standing in another floristry TAFE course such as the Certificate III in Floristry (7736) or the Certificate IV in Floristry (7737) to become a florist. Completion of this Certificate II course can lead to a career as a floristry assistant.
