marine mechanical This marine mechanic course is for people who have entered into a marine mechanic apprenticeship or outboard mechanic training agreement through their industry employer. Enrol in this Certificate III award to climb aboard one of the most comprehensive marine mechanic courses available to develop the job skills needed for the recreational boating industry. Using our Maritime Training Centre's state of the art technology, you will be educated in a wide range of mechanical engineering activities, such as how to service and repair a marine vessel, how to service, diagnose and repair diesel, gas and turbine engine faults, transmissions, hydraulic and electrical systems and components. Modules completed in this qualification are recognised in other Hunter TAFE awards within the AUR05 Automotive Industry Retail, Service and Repair Training Package. This course will help jump start the career of marine mechanics in the recreational boating industry.
