
Hunter TAFE offers a number of conservation and land management courses for people who have a strong interest in the environment and who work, or want to work, in the conservation land management industry. The subjects covered as part of this particular land management training course include parks and wildlife, Indigenous land management, restoration of the natural area, weed management, conservation earthworks, animal conservation and vertebrate pest management. Upon completion of this course, the student may be eligible for articulation into other conservation courses and land management training including Conservation and Land Management Certificate III. Following graduation from this or other land management courses there are a number of interesting career options to consider including working for local government, National Parks and Wildlife or environmental organisations.
