automotive mechanical technology heavy vehicle equipment This TAFE mechanic qualification is for apprentice heavy vehicle mechanics in the heavy mobile equipment service industry. You will work on auto equipment such as earth moving and industrial equipment, learning how the various systems operate and how to maintain, test, diagnose, and repair those systems and components. Successful completion of this course will enable you to be employed as a heavy vehicle motor mechanic (Heavy Mobile Equipment) in the automotive industry. You may be eligible for advanced standing in this qualification if you have successfully completed any units of competence in other automotive TAFE courses.
