After completing your RHCE training you must successfully complete the Red Hat Certified Engineer exam to receive your Red Hat Certification. This is a single section test lasting 3.5 hours. The redhat training exam is performance based and you will be expected to answer questions and perform tasks on a live computer system. Employment as a Red Hat Certified Engineer requires the ability to be responsible for and work with internet security, and operating systems such as Linux and Windows. This exam is suitable for those who will work at some stage with a systems architect, project manager or developer.
