This medical training program offers practical medical training for shipmasters. Enrol in Hunter TAFE's medical training courses and acquire the health education and skills to enable you to take charge during an on-board emergency. Participants of these programs will learn a range of nursing assistant skills in order to provide immediate health care to patients, apply medical procedures and allocate medicine with confidence. Learners will be taught how to liaise with on-shore medical advisors and follow directed procedures. Completion of this course may lead to further medical career related training.
