Hunter TAFE offers agriculture training courses and horticulture courses that equip students with the skills and experience to commence work in the farming industry. This agriculture training course will allow you to develop basic technical, husbandry and/or farming skills. You will learn how to work effectively in the rural industry as well as learn the basic technical skills that will allow you to be employed as a supervised worker in the industry. Sustainable agriculture, growing practices and a range of production and management techniques will be covered in this course. Successful completion of this our agriculture courses would allow you to secure a job on a property engaged in primary production. You can continue your study in this field with the Agriculture Certificate III or the Agriculture (Beef Production) Certificate III.
