TAFE NSW Hunter Institute

Language, Literacy and Numeracy

language literacy and numeracy This literacy course is designed for those looking to open doors to work opportunities or further study by improving their overall literacy training, including improved English, reading, writing, maths and computer skills. Developing these basic education areas through well-structured literacy courses for adults can also help improve personal and social skills. Hunter TAFE's literacy and numeracy courses cover all key building blocks to literacy in an easy to understand format and additional electives can also be selected to help students with computer literacy. These literacy programs do not provide direct articulation to other TAFE courses but the improved language, English and numeracy skills gained will help you meet the entry requirements for a wide range of other educational and vocational courses.
