Student working with polymer This surfboard making course is for surfers wanting to learn how to hand-make a surf board. To construct and customise your own wave catcher, enrol in one of Hunter TAFE's 10-week courses to benefit from our expert instruction and well-equipped workshop. The program will help you master board design, board forming and surf board shaping techniques for all types of boards including fibreglass, wooden, large or small board.. We have all the necessary building tools and equipment required to get your board ocean worthy. Students will be required to purchase a foam blank and fin system. This course can be tailored for individuals or small groups; its flexible delivery enables student interaction at various stages of production.
