landscapingLandscaping courses at Hunter TAFE offer relevant, practical experience that give students work-ready skills. Choose this landscaping course if you are an apprentice landscaper or working in the landscape construction sector of the horticulture industry.

 

In conjunction with on-the-job learning, the course enables you to develop a range of skills required to construct and renovate garden landscapes, such as those in private gardens, public parks and industrial complexes.

 

You will learn about landscape architecture and how to set out sites for landscape work, lay paving, construct brick and stone features and retaining walls, install irrigation and provide information about plants and turf. Training will cover identifying plants, planting a variety of trees and plants and analysing soil. Career opportunities in the horticulture industry include landscaper, landscape tradesperson or landscape designer.

 

Upon successful completion of this course you can continue your study in Horticulture (Landscape) Diploma.
