Horticulture Certificate II

gardening areaThis horticulture training is for students or those wanting to work as assistants to tradespeople in the horticulture industry. Enrol in this horticultural training to learn about plant types, basic landscape design, and organic gardening as well as safe and environmentally sustainable work practices. These training courses offer a range of skills to learn from selected areas, including arboriculture, landscaping, nursery operations, parks and gardens, turf construction, chemicals use, irrigation, machinery operations and maintenance, merchandising and sales and pest management. Study pathways from this qualification include specialist Certificate III qualifications and can lead onto a horticulture degree. Immediate Career opportunities include horticulture assistant or work in a nursery or similar industry assistant roles.
