Civil Construction Design Diploma

constructionHunter TAFE offers civil construction courses for people who want to work or are currently employed in civil construction jobs and would benefit from civil construction training. Enrol in this civil engineering course if you're a Year 12 school leaver and want a role as designer or design para-professional supporting a professional engineer.

You'll be learning about civil drafting and the underpinning principles of civil design such as engineering mathematics, statics and strength of building materials. Learn to apply a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning skills.

Examples include project manager elements such as time, risk, procurement and continuous improvement as well as producing engineering drawings and designs. You will be assessed as a worker or in a simulated environment as specified in the Resources and Infrastructure Training Package.
