Underground Coal Mining Management Diploma

coal mineThere is a range of TAFE mining courses offered for those wanting to further their careers in mining. Enrol and learn the skills to become a coal mine undermanager or equivalent within the mineral and resources sector in Australia or elsewhere.

 

You'll learn skills in a broad range of technical, managerial, coordination and planning areas to perform tasks involving a high level of autonomy; significant judgment in planning; determining selection of equipment, roles and techniques. You will also be able to implement safety management plans and carry out risk management processes in the workplace.

 

You must be currently employed in, or have authorised access to an operational underground coalmine while undertaking this course.
