Sports Turf Management Certificate IV

campus imageThis sports turf management course is for people who want to develop post-trade skills and knowledge to become specialists or supervisors in the sports turf industry. Enrol in our turf management courses to learn about grass maintenance and turf renovation, developing soil health and plant nutrition programs, water use and irrigation scheduling, and conserving resources and monitoring environmental policies. You'll learn how to manage a range of turn options from league fields to a cricket ground, golf courses to race tracks. Select from electives such as maintaining workplace safety, pest management, supervision of machinery and equipment maintenance, project costing, staff supervision and performance monitoring. Career opportunities include head greenkeeper, assistant curator assistant and golf course superintendent.
