
Hunter TAFE has laboratory courses for people wishing to take up roles as laboratory supervisors, senior technicians, senior technical officers or similar laboratory technician roles. Enrol in this laboratory training to learn a broad and flexible package of management competencies including responsibility for planning, allocation of tasks, monitoring of resources, research coordination, quality assurance, recording and reporting of lab outputs. This course is suited to a number of industry contexts school or science research roles, process manufacturing, pathology services, biological and environmental services, food and beverage processing and forensic pathology. Career opportunities include laboratory manager/supervisor, senior laboratory technician, senior laboratory assistant or senior laboratory technical officer.
