Laboratory Techniques Certificate IV

labCertificate IV in laboratory techniques is for people who work or want to work in a laboratory in the science, food, chemical, manufacturing, construction materials, biological/environmental or pathology industry sectors. Enrol in this lab techniques program to develop the skills and knowledge you need to safely and competently perform as a technical assistant, technician or instrument operator in a range of science and related sectors. The courses also allow you to select a stream appropriate to your intended workplace role. Diploma courses you may be granted credit into (depending on electives you've studied) after completion include Laboratory Technology (Specialising in Pathology Testing), Laboratory Technology (Chemical and Forensic Testing) and Environmental Monitoring and Technology). Career opportunities include technical assistant or lab assistant.
