
Hunter TAFE offers technical production courses for people wanting a career in the creative arts. Enrol in this technical production training to develop knowledge and skills in a range of areas suited to work in the music, performance and entertainment industries. Choose from specialist elective units including audio and sound, lighting, staging, vision systems and learn about working safely, collaborating with others and management of your work. When you finish this course you can continue on to further specialised studies at Certificate IV level, including Sound Production, Screen and Media or Live Production, Theatre and Events. Career opportunities from this course include assistant sound mixer or engineer, stage manager assistant, audiovisual operator, live sound recordist or casual technician.
