This cabinet maker course is for the apprentice cabinet maker looking for the skills and knowledge associated with the manufacture and installation of free-standing and fitted cabinets in a kitchen or bathroom.
Enrol in this woodworking course to learn how to prepare and construct a range of cabinets in solid timber and manufactured board, carry out measurements and calculations, and read and interpret design and work documents. In this furniture making course, you will also learn about occupational health and safety, customer communication and working with others.
Further training pathways from this qualification include, Furniture Design and Technology Certificate IV and relevant supervisory, management or competitive manufacturing qualifications. Cabinet maker jobs that may lead from this course include cabinetmaking tradesperson, kitchen and bathroom manufacturer, workshop manager or self-employment in the industry.
