Entry Requirements

To have a reasonable expectation of successfully completing the Advanced Diploma of Arts (Acting), learners should possess the following entry level skills and attributes: - ability to improvise - ability to interact constructively with others in a dramatic setting - strong interest in and motivation to become a professional actor - ability to respond to instruction and accept constructive criticism - acceptance of the time and financial commitment to study - understand the content and purpose of the course. You may be required to audition for a place in the course. During audition you will be required to present at least two dramatic monologues and one musical piece. If short-listed from this process you may be asked to return for further exercises and skill work (which may include group work). If you reach this second shortlist you will be asked to undertake a third and final individual audition. Entry is based on the student's ability to show potential for a career in acting.
