Information Technology (Networking)

Hunter TAFE offers information technology courses for people who want to work with computer networks. Enrol in this information technology training to learn how to install, administer, maintain and manage IT network systems. You'll acquire skills in a range of technologies, including online, that will enable you to be effective in network management as an independent information and communications technology (ICT) specialist or as part of a team within a business. For the later stages of this course it may be necessary to have completed certain components of a Cisco CCNA certification. When you finish this information technology class you may be eligible for advanced standing in Information Technology Certificate IV and Diploma courses. This course leads into the Diploma of Information Technology (Networking). Career opportunities from this Certificate IV course include: network administrator, network manager, network operations analyst, network operations engineer, network operations technician and network technician.
