
Hunter TAFE offers information technology training for people wanting to work with computer systems. This IT course provides basic skills in the management, maintenance and security issues involved in maintaining a local area network. Enrol in this IT training to acquire skills in the basic use of a range of technologies to provide basic diagnostic support to people using computers in an organisation or perhaps within schools. On completion of this course, you may be eligible for advanced standing in further Information Technology Certificate courses. This stream provides a natural progression into Information Technology (Networking) Certificate IV. Career opportunities from this course include: Call centre support officer, client support officer, computer operator, help desk officer/technician, ICT operations support, maintenance technician, PC support, sales support technician or technical support.
